8 Robots That Will Put You Out Of A Job
4. Doctor Bots

As robotic surgery is already on the rise, with surgeons being assisted by many-armed machines in particularly fiddly and skillful procedures, medicine is one area in which technology can really flourish.
As well as surgical robots, automation is beginning to creep into the diagnostic side of healthcare. Computers are regularly used in conjunction with humans in screening for diseases. Mammograms, for example, when analysed by one doctor and a piece of software, pick up the same amount of cancers as when examined by two human radiologists.
Robotic pharmacies are also becoming a more regular occurrence, as the reading of a prescription and dispensing of drugs is easily programmed into a piece of software.
Although there's probably no true replacement for a face-to-face meeting with your doc, we can still make that system faster, cheaper and more reliable by bringing the robots in.
