9 Diseases That Are The Stuff Of Horror Movies

9. Cornu Cutaneum Have you seen the film Horns with Daniel Radcliffe? First of all, my condolences, second of all, it's totally possible for a person to sprout horns. A cutaneous horn is a kind of skin tumour made out of keratin - that's the stuff that hair, nails and, yes, some horns are made from. It's not entirely certain what causes these growths, but they're thought to be linked to HPV, making them sort of warts but if left to grow then that can form proper curly devil horns. They can usually be kept under control with regular pruning, or you could just hold out hope that the beelzebub look is going to come in this season. The incidence of malignancy is at about 20%, except when they're present on the penis (giving a whole new meaning to the term "horny"), at which point it jumps to 37%. So, if you do end up sprouting horns on your willy, it's best to go and get them checked out (not that you need to be told that or anything).
