Apple Launching iPad 3 At Event in Early March?

Industry experts believe the iPad 3 could be made available as a product release as early as a week after the unveiling, the same selling strategy that Apple used for the iPad 2.

AllThingsD are reporting that Apple will be holding an event in early March to announce the iPad 3. The rumour is this announcement will take place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, a venue used several times in the past for Apple's big unveiling. Industry experts believe the iPad 3 could be made available as a product release as early as a week after the unveiling, the same selling strategy that Apple used for the iPad 2. As for what we can expect for the next generation iPad, we do expect it o have minor aesthetic differences from previous versions and also show-off its graphics on a high-res 2048x1536 Retina Display and possible/probable 4G connectivity. Yesterday it was also revealed that iOS 5.1 would be released March 9th. Although some are speculating the rumour of the early March unveiling to be suspect due to the short window Apple have to promote the launch, this kind of time frame has become somewhat commonplace with the company. Apple have so far refused to comment on the story, saying they do not talk publicly about rumour and speculation.
