Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge: 13 Things You Need To Know

6. It's A Culinary Adventure

Animal Kingdom Lodge has some of the most highly rated restaurants at all of Walt Disney World. The quick service (fast food) restaurant is the Mara. Although there is an African feel to the menu with the African Stew, there are your usual flatbreads, burgers and chicken nuggets for those less adventurous. Boma is the buffet service restaurant and known for its mix of traditional items and more African inspired dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is of high quality. If you dine here for breakfast, the Jungle Juice is a popular choice. Jiko: the cooking place, is a fine dining establishment and one of the most popular in the whole of Walt Disney World. If you aren€™t sure about Boma or Jiko, take the free tour of both these restaurants. The tours start at around 4pm and you will be guided by cultural representatives, who will tell you all about the restaurants. Some guests have even been given free samples to try. At Kidani Village you will find Sanaa, a restaurant with an African and Indian inspired menu. Lunch is always recommended at Sanaa as it overlooks the Sunset Savanna. Similar to Boma and Jiko, Sanaa has its own free tour. Guests have reported sampling the famous Indian Style Bread Service. Mmmmm.
