Harry Potter: 10 Character Names You Didn't Realise Were Huge Clues

Like his daughter Luna, Xenophilius Lovegood is wonderfully strange. Their last name seems to apply best to Luna, and both have nicely bizarre sounding first names. But don’t think that Xenophilius doesn’t mean much – it breaks down quite simply to the parts ‘xeno’ meaning ‘strange’ and ‘phile’ meaning ‘love.’ Yes, his name is ‘the lover of the strange.’

With his lighthouse-shaped home, collection of bizarre relics, newspaper devoted to the bizarre and funky wardrobe, again, it's all incredibly fitting.
