Ranking The Universal Studios Hollywood Rides - From Worst To Best

3. Jurassic Park - The Ride

Prepare to get wet on this raft ride, based on both Steven Speilburg's modern classic and Michael Crichton's original novel.

Jurassic Park - The Ride takes you on a water adventure through the world of dinosaurs. As you begin, it is a present journey, observing the large vegetation eating dinosaurs by the water's edge. It wouldn't be much of a ride though if that's all that happens.

As the dangerous dinosaurs come out to feast on the guests, riders make their way up into the power Environmental Systems Building. It's a long way up into the building, but what goes up must come down.

Lovers of the film will really enjoy this ride. It is exactly like how you would imagine journeying into the prehistoric park.

It's also is a really thrilling ride. The last fall is pretty dramatic, just make sure you are ready for the big splash.

The drop at the end is long and thats not the only place you will get wet. The venom spraying dinosaurs, Dilophosaurus' spit water at you and there are points on the ride where water drips down from the ceiling. You might want to pick up a poncho in the gift shop before you ride.

What makes this ride so good is its simplicity. It's essentially a raft ride, but the theming is excellent. There's so much to see, including a Mickey Mouse hat floating by a wrecked truck.

This is definitely a ride you can't miss out on.
