Universal Orlando Resort Announce Two New Hotels
Two new Value hotels to be located near International Drive.
Universal Orlando Resort have announced two new Value hotels they will be opening in 2019.
Located on the closed Wet 'n Wild site, these new hotels will have the lowest room rates of any Universal Orlando Resort hotel.
Universal hasn't yet released the names for the resorts but confirmed they will have a "laid-back, coastal feel". Universal's blog describes the new hotels as "vibrant and natural colors will set a free-spirited and beachy tone, inviting you to hang loose and enjoy your family vacation".
Even though these are Value resorts, they have all the amenities you would expect including access to three pools, fitness centres and two food courts. There will also be coffee shops and bars at each of the resorts.
The two hotels will be managed by Loews, the same company which is responsible for the other Universal Orlando Resort hotels.
As with all the other Universal hotels, there will be exclusive benefits for those staying onsite. Guests will be given free transport to and from the parks, early access to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and you can charge any in-park purchases to your room.
Rates for the two hotels will begin at less than $100 per night. As of yet there is no opening date for the two hotels but Universal will begin accepting reservations in early 2018.
