The House

Set in a 19th century Spanish manor, a tortured artist finds his work come to life thanks to the spirits that haunt his home.

As you journey through the house and into the conservatory you encounter the sinister forces that live in this gothic house. Filled with terrifying beings and monstrous art, the artist himself is slowly becoming one with the house.

Will you exit his beautifully decayed home alive?

The Verdict

"El Artista: A Spanish Haunting" is one of the most gorgeous houses that HHN have ever created. From the moment you enter and are greeted by the dramatic house facade, you will find your breathe taken away by the scale of it.

The house has winding corridors, moments of huge set pieces that make you want to stop and look around. All whilst scaring you as you go.

There were plenty of spirits and creatures that call this Spanish manor home, along with the tortured Artist himself.

If you love a gothic ghost story then this house will definitely be for you. Though not as unrelenting as Jason Universe, El Artista cranked up the tension with the use of tight spaces, glass and mirrors. You never felt like you were safe in this house, with a foreboding atmosphere throughout.

HHN loves to distract, then scare you. In "El Artista" it was the house itself that caused the distraction. Often catching me out with a fright whilst I was taking in all the details of the house. You might want to enjoy this house more than once as I think it's hard to truly appreciate both its scares and beauty in one go.

Oh and a bit of advice, when you enter the conservatory don't forget to look up.
