10 Biggest Football Stadiums In The World

7. Wembley Stadium (London, England) - 90,000 Capacity

One of the most-iconic stadiums in world football, (the new) Wembley was finally completed in 2007, replacing the original arena that had been built back in 1923. Costing pennies under £800 million, the stadium has already been the host of various music concerts, the first-ever European NFL fixture (2007), the finals of men and women's football in the Olympics 2012, the final of all major play-offs in English Football, the FA and League Cup final, as well as two Champions League finals (2011, 2013). The new archway rising high over the stadium has replaced the previously iconic towers either side of the old arena.

I'm a 24 year old working in insurance; this is not the life I thought I would have as a boy. I was certain I would be playing for England by now, unfortunately I lack the necessary stamina, skill, fitness, strength and technique. However the one thing I do not lack is passion for the game and I am able to, wrongly or rightly, conjure up an opinion about any aspect of the game. Good luck with that.
