3. Owen Hargreaves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMy-qBo0gbw Owen Hargreaves was a top player in his prime. Canadian by birth, with British parentage and brought up in Germany, he was a unique individual who had spent the majority of his career flourishing as a Bayern Municn player in the Bundesliga. He earned 42 England caps, was selected in two World Cup squads (2002 and 2006) and was considered to be the national side's best player at the 2006 tournament. He moves to Manchester United in 2007 and struggled with injuries after that - he made just 39 appearances in four years at the club and was released in 2011. That summer, he resorted to posting videos of himself on YouTube to prove his fitness to potential suitors and, bizarrely,
Spurs were apparently tempted to take a punt (in spite of the fact that, no matter what the videos might have suggested, Hargreaves was crocked). Ultimately, he headed to Manchester City and, whilst there, proved his signature was a terrible idea. He spent just nine months there, playing just four games - only one of which was in the Premier League and even that was just as a substitute.
