10 Forgotten Men Who Desperately Need To Move Before September

2. Anderson

Anderson is definitely becoming a rather expensive parasite for Man United, with the Red Devils seemingly unable to shift the Brazilian midfielder from their books without a reasonably big outlay from themselves. Despite heading out to Serie A on loan with Fiorentina last season, the 26-year-old made only a handful of appearances and didn't impress sufficiently to earn himself a permanent switch. Though the former Porto midfielder looked to have enough natural ability to transform into an exciting footballer, with undoubted skill, he hasn't appeared to have the application to earn a run at Old Trafford in recent seasons. With over 100 appearances in the red of Man United, that should be reason enough for a less reputable side to gamble on the out-of-favour Brazil international, but whether the majority of clubs can afford his demands are another matter altogether. In a training atmosphere which demands so much of the collective, while maintains rigid discipline and order throughout, Van Gaal's United doesn't appear to be the right fit for Anderson, who needs to get his career back on track quickly before he loses his best years.
