Once admired for his gallivanting, direct runs and regarded as something of a cult hero, Jonas Gutierrez's Spiderman celebration isn't something that we've been accustomed to seeing in recent months. The Argentina international has racked up 177 appearances for Newcastle in his six years at the Tyneside club, but this summer appears to be his last. Having spent last campaign on loan with former boss Chris Hughton at Norwich, during which the 31-year-old played on merely four occasions, not much points towards Jonas being able to cut it at the pinnacle of English football anymore. Given his age, the wide man may look back towards his roots, with Velez Sarsfield being the first club to cut his teeth at - which would surely be a romantic return. For the moment, at least, Jonas is still a Magpie, but Alan Pardew's considerable summer imports suggest that the Argentine isn't anywhere near his first-team plans. Having stated his love for his home country on Twitter since the end of the season, that could well be the wide man's next career step.
