10 Idiotic Decisions Made By Former Newcastle Players
6. Jose Enrique Joined Liverpool And Grew A Hitler Tash
Newcastle fans are rarely treated to anything as instantly gratifying as what happened to Jose Enrique when he left for Liverpool and the promise of European football and title challenges: his new side famously finished below Newcastle and he suffered the indignity of having to go in goal after Pepe Reina was sent off at St. James Park in a heart-warming Liverpool defeat. He was jeered, his decision insulted and the grass proclaimed far less green on Merseyside. And even though Enrique's team have now overcome those issues under Brendan Rodgers and only just missed out on the title last season at the last hurdle, but their renaissance has been very much despite the Spanish defender. He has been dropped, injured or unfancied, and is far from first-choice at Anfield, and it looks like he made the wrong decision entirely in joining Liverpool when he could probably have gone elsewhere. And then if that wasn't enough, he's just published a picture of himself on Instagram with what can only be described as a Hitler moustache.
