10 Most Legendary Old Firm European Nights

7. Celtic 2-1 AC Milan (October 2007)

Gordon Strachan€™s Celtic achieved one of the greatest European results, particularly considering the line-up he fielded against reigning European Champions, AC Milan. A midfield consisting of Jiri Jarosik, Massimo Donati and Paul Hartley in midfield really shouldn€™t be taking such a scalp, but the atmosphere provided a much needed 12th man and inspired an unlikely victory. Captain Stephen McManus bundled Celtic in front, before Kaka equalised soon after from the penalty spot, but as the game entered extra time Dida spilled a Gary Caldwell shot (that's no joke), and Australian poacher Scott McDonald nipped in to win the game for Celtic. Dida was rubbish.
