3. Joleon Lescott
Lynne Cameron/EMPICS SportThe top 3 are relatively interchangeable. It would be wise to include Lescott at no.3 as many will point out he's won two premiership titles. At Goodison Park, Lescott was a revelation. He could play at CB or LB, scoring more goals than any other defender. For all this, Everton were left with a sour taste in the mouth as he forced through a transfer away from Goodison. His presence in a 6-1 hammering at home to Arsenal proved how much he valued his current club. Now at West Bromwich Albion, Lescott has taken a backward step. Though at the time he may not have regretted leaving the Toffees, he probably regrets staying at City for so long. Unfortunately for Lescott, any possible return back to Merseyside is now long gone. Enjoy the relegation battle Joleon.
