This may be the harshest inclusion on this list as Andros Townsend obviously loves Spurs and he does seem to try when he gets his chance on the pitch, but the fact is that what he does there is completely ineffective 99% of the time, and yet he shows no signs of wanting to change or develop his game his game in a manner that might actually help him to make a difference in their plight. Townsend seems to do two things - he runs with the ball and she shoots. This occurs regardless of where he is on the pitch and usually ends up in him giving the ball away - which has cost Spurs already this season (see the Liverpool defeat as a prime example) or shooting high or wide. He wants to be Gareth Bale and the fact that he isn't close to be being good enough to emulate the Welshman doesn't put him off continuing to try to be and, in spite of the fact it's proving detrimental to his club, he refuses to change.
