Samuel Eto'o may be 33 years old and well past his brilliant best but, in the event of Spurs being unable to bring in anyone else, his experience couldn't do the club any harm - especially given that he is currently a free agent and wouldn't require the club to splash out on a hefty transfer fee. Eto'o's winning mentality is undeniable and if his qualities and influence could rub off on to Spurs' current strikers, he may be worth bringing in on a short term deal - he is, of course, always likely to pop up with a goal himself if given the chance and the extra competition for Spurs' strikers can only help them to up their respective games. According to the media, Spurs have held talks with the player in recent days and, although he won't be many fans' first choice, the club could do a lot worse than bringing him in for the season. Eto'o scored nine goals in sixteen Premier League starts for Chelsea last season, as well as three goals in five starts in Europe for the Blues.
