Spurs have been linked with the Netherlands international striker many times in recent years - including very recently - and they should see this window as a particularly good chance to tempt him to White Hart Lane, as he is reportedly weighing up his options, amidst interest from the Premier League and Turkey, with just one year left on his contract at German club Schalke 04. Huntelaar has scored 59 goals in 97 Bundesliga starts at Schalke, has 35 goals in 65 international appearances and has decent records for hitting the back of the net at AC Milan, Real Madrid and Ajax. If Spurs are looking for experience, they could do a hell of a lot worse than making him an offer.
