10 Strikers Spurs Should Still Be Looking To Sign
5. Loic Remy
Another player who Spurs have been persistently linked with in recent months is Loic Remy.
The Frenchman moved to Queens Park Rangers in time to join their relegation fight a couple of seasons ago and his goals were the closest thing to saving them from relegation to the Championship. Unfortunately for them, they weren't quite enough and he soon found himself as a Championship player. As a result, he then went on loan to Newcastle United and scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League starts last season. A recent potential move to Liverpool fell through thanks to him failing a medical, as he was injured at the time, and he played the full 90 minutes of Rangers' opening league fixture last weekend. Spurs are said to want to capitalise on the failed move - maybe even in time for their home match against his current team this coming weekend.
Remy brings with him Premier League experience and a proven record of being able to score in the top flight in consecutive seasons something that is invaluable in any striker signing and something Spurs' current strikers are struggling to do. If Remy is still available, they should do all they can to take him to White Hart Lane.
