Balotelli's time at Inter Milan was fractious to say the least, and he was probably at his worst behaved during his time there. He had constant squabbles with teammates and managers (more on that later), but his relationship with the Inter fans was particularly strained. He brought it on himself a lot of the time though. In March 2010, he did one of the most idiotic things imaginable as a Nerazzurri player, appearing on an Italian comedy show wearing an AC Milan shirt. Admittedly he was a Rossoneri fan as a boy, but 99.9 per cent of players would just keep something like that to themselves and not make it so obvious. Imagine Robbie Fowler parading around in an Everton shirt on national television. If Balotelli were to sign for Liverpool, then appear on the Graham Norton Show sporting a Manchester United shirt, it's fair to say his popularity on Merseyside would evaporate with immediate effect.
