Another talent from Spurs, Kane's promotion to first team football has been one of the more surprising developments of the 2014-15 season. 'The Hurricane' has already had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester before being thrust into the Premier League. Due to the sub-standard performances of the two expensive strikers ahead of him, Kane was given a chance to prove himself because he couldn't actually be any worse than Adebayor and Soldado. Yet, 13 goals in 21 starts later, Kane finds himself as number one striker at White Hart Lane. The inevitability of Spurs - and football in general - dictates that Spurs will sign a high-profile striker once either Adebayor or Soldado have been unloaded, which is bad news for Kane. But the old-fashioned forward has proven himself, turned a few heads and put himself into international contention with eight under-21 goals.
