Ignoring for a minute the fact that Driving is not a hobby, YouGov's pollers have claimed that along with jigsaws, they love doing creative writing. Like writing poems and stories, which is definitely not the single most defining hobby of Geordies. Obviously there local papers are pretty good at creative writing - or lying as it is more commonly known - but it's hard to imagine the average Gallowgater scribbling notes for his latest Ode To The Tyne between sips of Perrier and placing jigsaw pieces.

If the poll is a true reflection of Newcastle fans, then your food tastes are as eclectic as your musical ones. On the top ten there are things as diverse as Spaghetti Vongole, Pad Woon Sen and Stinking Bishop Cheese - all delicious, but also oddly specific. But there is no more strange a revelation in the food break-down than the fact that Rice Pudding is by far the favourite food of the average Newcastle fan. Who the hell were they interviewing? Are you this mysterious rice pudding eating, jigsaw completing Shaggy Fan sitting in the Gallowgate dreaming about Evan Davis? Probably not, because he clearly doesn't bloody well exist.
