15. Your Club Will Not Respond To The Biggest Protests You Put On In 25 Years
This all dates back to the Cockney Mafia days of Messrs Ashley, Wise and Jeff Vetere. Instead of Ashley doing everything in his power to get out of a town where he plainly wasn't welcome, he merely put the club up for sale and waited before taking the club back off sale and running it down to the ground. Then, we had the whole Time4Change march that got NCJ Media banned from the club; PardewOut.com, #BoycottSpurs, and finally AshleyOut.com. Despite these numerous protests, nothing of note has been done by the club to acknowledge them and/or answer the fans that have put them on in the first place. It's like the club as a whole doesn't realise that the fan base of a club is its heartbeat, everything should revolve around them. To use a phrase that is becoming increasingly popular in 2015: 'football without fans is nothing.' Newcastle United need to start taking heed.
