15 Worst Ever English Football Kits

6. Norwich City: Home 1992-94

This Norfolk team were competing in Europe in 1993, yet their international reputation was not enhanced by this shirt from Ribero. Looking as if they had returned from a paintball game, Norwich wowed the fashionistas of Milan and Munich on their UEFA Cup run, proving the English have style after all. Norwich deserve to be on this list, not only because of the laughable pattern of the shirt, but because they were one of the first clubs to experiment with the traditional style of their home shirts. Away shirts have long been the playground of the frustrated fashion designer, but for a team such as Norwich to give the green light for such experimentation with their beloved home colours deserves nothing but ridicule. To most fans, the home colours and style of their favourite team are a sacred design, not to be altered in any extreme way. Although this must prove restrictive to kit manufacturers, to alter them in such an embarrassing manner is unforgivable.
