When Arsenal made a £10 million bid for Cabaye in the summer of 2013 and Newcastle rejected it, the Frenchman did not react well - even going on strike for the club's matches with Manchester City and West Ham United. Cabaye clearly didn't fancy another relegation scrap with the Magpies, and instead wanted Champions League football with Arsenal. Life at Newcastle United really can be horrendous it seems...
