5 Blockbuster Transfers That Could Rock The Premier League

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo If this one was to come true it would send shock-waves through world football, the blockbuster deal to top all other deals. Ever since Ronaldo declared his "sadness" at Real Madrid last season, rumours have been rife that a move to former club United could be on the cards. Real's outspoken president, Florentino Perez has repeatedly poured cold water on any suggestion that the Portuguese superstar could be on his way out, claiming that he believes CR7 would probably retire at the Bernebeu. Ronaldo for one, has remained tight lipped throughout this saga, only speaking out via Twitter to deny claims by the media that he had signed a contract extension at Los Blancos. This Tweet has only fuelled the speculation that a United-Ronaldo reunion could be on the cards. Fresh rumours have emerged that United officials plan to meet with Ronaldo in the next three days to discuss the former Ballon d'Or winners future. United fans will be licking their lips at the thought of the prodigal son's homecoming.
