5 Clubs José Mourinho Could Work His Magic At Next Instead Of Chelsea

3. Borussia Dortmund

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP6oMpVnDic Similar to the previous slide, Dortmund seems an unlikely destination for José. However it is common knowledge that Mourinho is trying to achieve big things in every major European league. Portugal: check, England: check, Italy: check, Spain: check. That leaves Germany and France before Mourinho should look to conquer football on an international level to seal his legacy as a managerial great. With Munich appointing Guardiola and Dortmund being the best alternative in German football, Mourinho could easily be lured into taking the job. A re-ignition of the of the Guardiola-Mourinho rivalry could be interesting, whilst the attractiveness of Dortmund being runners-up to the title and Champions League finalists (only time will tell if that word will be replaced with champions). Despite Gotze leaving the club in the summer and Lewandowski looking set to leave, Dortmund still have a strong squad that can compete with some of Europe's best as shown in their Champions League campaign. Christian Eriksen looks set to join the club whilst Subotic, GündoŸan and B‚aszczykowski have been hugely impressive during Dortmund's season. If Mourinho could find fit replacements for Gotze, which they seem to have found in Eriksen, and Lewandowski (should he leave), BVB could be a bigger challenge for Bayern next season - especially with the management of The Special One. However the reason for the unlikelihood regarding the BVB managerial position is the fact that Jurgen Klupp remains in charge and looks set to continue - why wouldn't he? Unless Manchester City or PSG approach him, I imagine that Klupp will stay at the German side. Though if the position is available and Mourinho was to be considered, the outcome could be disastrous for rivals Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga could become even more interesting.
