A surprising choice you may feel but Marcos Rojo has been United's most consistent defender this season amongst all of the team selection shuffles that have been going on around him. Neither United or Arsenal are particularly strong in the defensive department and Rojo could be considered the best of a mediocre bunch. Positionally he still has much to add to his game but he is dominant in the air and particularly excels when defending one on one - a skill often over looked. He is a good player in possession as well and id United sign a partner for him who possesses leadership and organsational qualities, the World Cup finalist could take his game even further.
