Arsenal's Invincibles - Where Are They Now?

After moving across North London to Arsenal from rivals Spurs, Sol Campbell re-enforced his reputation as one of the most solid centre-backs in Europe. He played a key role in Arsenal's title-winning 2003/04 campaign, providing a solid foundation to protect a team which was famous for pushing a high number of players forward when in possession.

After Arsenal

Campbell left Arsenal in 2006, before playing for Portsmouth and somewhat infamously, Notts County. He then returned for a brief spell with The Gunners, before joining Newcastle United, where his experience was brought in to add steel to the newly promoted side. Sadly it didn't exactly work out in the North East.

The England international retired in 2011, and now has his own charity named 'Kids go live', which allows underprivileged children to go and watch major sporting events.

The ex-Arsenal man is now also pursuing a career in politics, though it was announced in recent days that he had failed with his campaign to become London mayor - failing to make it onto the Tory shortlist.
