Swedish international Ljungberg joined Arsenal in 1998 from Swedish outfit Halmstads BK, and spent nine years at the club. During the 2003/04 campaign he played 30 of the 38 league games, contributing four goals from the right wing.

After Arsenal

After leaving North London in 2007, Ljungberg played for six different teams in three different continents, before retiring last year after an unsuccessful spell with Mumbai City in India.

The Swede is currently living in London, and represents several different brands - including Puma, ESPN and Pepsi. He was also announced as a club ambassador for Arsenal in 2013, a duty he is still fulfilling. According to the North London club, he is a "key figurehead in the Club’s plans for international growth".
