Ashley Cole has been described by many as England's best ever left-back. Cole was a key part of Arsenal's 2003/04 campaign, and was renowned for getting forward down the left flank into attacking areas.

After Arsenal

He went on to make 228 appearances for Arsenal before a controversial switch to rivals Chelsea in 2006, where he remained for eight years. The ex-Gunner signed for his first club outside of England in 2014, when he left Chelsea to join Italian giants Roma.

Though his game time has been limited in Italy, Cole still plays his football in Rome, and has ruled out any return to English football - insisting he is enjoying a more peaceful lifestyle.
