Left back is probably the position where the English pickings are at their slimmest as far as Spurs' Premier League years go and, as a result, Danny Rose pretty much has to be included if we want to keep players in their natural positions for this hypothetical team. Rose has struggled to truly make the left back position his own at White Hart Lane, with last season being his breakthrough season when he didn't really have any competition for the role. That said, this season, amidst competition from new signing Ben Davies, Rose has held his space in Spurs' first team and has actually recently received his first England call-up. Rose's strength lies in his attacking prowess, as he likes to get forward and is often a little weak in the defensive role thanks to his diminutive stature. His best moment in a Spurs shirt was undoubtedly on his full debut, when he scored a thumping 25 yard volley in the North London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
