Champions League: Ranking 8 Remaining Teams' Chances Of Victory

7. Manchester United

How the mighty have fallen. With such a horrible season following the departure of the great Sir Alex Ferguson, it is truly debatable if Manchester United should really be above Dortmund in this list, but they are placed here because quite simply this is the same team that won the Premier League title just a season ago, only now with further additions to the squad. Furthermore many United fans would agree that United have played much better in the Champions League than in the Premier League, cruising past the group stage, even if their victory over Olympiakos was somewhat laboured. If they can find some of the belief and swagger they were overflowing with in Sir Alex's time, Manchester United could very well pull off a "Chelsea 2011/2012" and clinch the UEFA Champions League trophy against the odds. However hopes are extremely slim, as Manchester United have done horribly against big name opposition, and they just ironically enough had to draw last year's winners and already Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the quarter finals. Glory glory Man United...? Probably not.

My name is Akhilan and I am simply a 15 year old teenager from a little Asian country called Malaysia. I have grown up in quite a comfortable area, but for the past year or so, I have been struggling for an identity and a direction to ponder in the future. While other subjects in school totally bored me and left me with no inspiration, English called out to me and ever since I have been doing what I love, writing, public speaking, debating and so on, while still juggling schoolwork. I hope I can share some of my writing on this platform as well and I am very grateful for this opportunity.
