6. Chelsea

A difficult team to predict, Chelsea can range from being near unplayable, to seemingly rudderless mediocrity within the space of a single game. Though they currently sit second in the Premier League, Jose Mourinho has been quick to point out that his side are now out of the running, and they are still missing key personnel, as well as the key components needed to turn their good midfield options into a squad genuinely able to compete on all fronts. For example who is Chelsea's main striker? For the past two years Chelsea have been struggling with the exact same question, as big money flop Fernando Torres simply doesn't cut it, and Demba Ba - the man suggested as his replacement looks set to leave in the summer. Daniel Sturridge was also sold to Liverpool for unfathomable reasons, and has proved since that he is a better option than Torres, who unfeasibly continues to get starts at Chelsea, while Romelu Lukaku remains out on loan. Chelsea had seemingly solved their problem with acclaimed striker Samuel Eto'o, but he too is an ageing commodity and is rather inconsistent. Giving credit where credit is due though, Chelsea do have one of the best midfields in world football today with Eden Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Ramires, Frank Lampard, and seemingly limitless other options. But then what use is a blunt spear? Unless whichever striker Chelsea deploys shows up on match-day, Chelsea could easily fall prey to the Zlatan led force that is PSG in the quarter finals.
