Chelsea Transfers: 5 Deadline Day Deals That COULD Happen

4. Fredy Guarin To End Inter Milan Hell

Fredy Guarin has been trying to leave Inter Milan this month. He looked set to move to Italian champions Juventus as part of a swap deal that would see striker Marco Vukinic head in the opposite direction, but it fell through at the last minute. And now, the midfielder is in limbo, demanding emergency talks with Inter president Erick Thohir as he looks to sort out his future this month. Guarin had been all set to leave Inter, and had even bid farewell to his teammates convinced that his transfer was going to go through. And now, Chelsea and Manchester United could step in and give him his wish to leave the San Siro as the crisis surrounding the player's future deepens. Both Premier League clubs are interested in the central midfielder and may yet try to exploit the uncertainty surrounding the 27-year-old by coming in with a bid.
