Fantasy Football Tips: 5 Expensive Misfits You Must Sell Immediately

3. David Luiz - £6.1million

Another man not being played with enough regularity by Mourinho, some may feel, is the Brazilian David Luiz. Only playing twice in the league so far, Mourinho may feel he is too much of a risk to continually play and keep pursuing his squad rotation policy, yet he is too much of a talent to keep on the bench. His style of defending could be seen as risky and on the edge by some observers especially in the aftermath of the defeat to Everton, who strongly feel that he was extremely culpable for Steven Naismith's winner. Arguably he was also culpable for allowing Basel's Marco Streller to nod home from a corner, thus propelling the Swiss side to a 2-1 triumph on Matchday 1. These costly mistakes may diminish his reputation under Mourinho and lead him to the substitutes bench. Perhaps, the alternative could be for the Special One to follow Rafa Benitez's line and utilise him as a defensive midfielder, thus lessening the impact of mistakes while also allowing him to further his creative ability. Either way, I feel Luiz must improve or he faces being frozen out and depriving the 8.5% of players who have selected him of valuable points.
