Fantasy Football Tips: 5 Expensive Misfits You Must Sell Immediately

2. Dimitar Berbatov - £7.2million

So far we have concerned ourselves with players who play for clubs who have significant ambitions of winning the league, but for Dimitar Berbatov and his Fulham side, just staying in it is of prime concern. At this early stage of the season, the Cottagers sit in the relegation zones with 4 points and part of the problem of their form may be attributed to the Bulgarian enigma. Often the fulcrum of Fulham's attack, the man who inspired them to 14th place to last season hasn't so far reproduced that form that made him one of the most talked about strikers. A solitary goal against Arsenal and 2 yellow cards suggest he may be becoming frustrated with service and exercise the need to help with other areas to make an impact. Unlike the majority of players in ths countdown, playing time isn't a problem; bar Chelsea away, he has played the full 90 minutes in all of their games. So, it just seems that the man who's mantra is to 'keep calm and pass the ball to me', isn't getting that and that has a direct consequence on the Cottagers' performance, who seem happy if not reliant on his goals to earn them points. But, with his value decreasing by £0.3million on his price at the start of the season and cheaper options available to players who have so far accrued more points, it may appear as if the Bulgarian's time is up in many of people's teams.
