Liverpool Transfers: 10 Dream Replacements For Luis Suarez

8. Alvaro Morata

Back in January it was revealed that both Arsenal and Liverpool had made attempts to loan him, and Spurs apparently attempted to include him in the deal that sent Gareth Bale to Spain, but Morata proclaimed himself uninterested in a move at that time. But six months is a long time in football, as Luis Suarez - who claimed he was happy to remain at Liverpool last December - has just proven, and Morata might see a move away from Madrid as his best option for sustained first team football, and a Champions League opportunity with Liverpool. It remains unclear whether Madrid would be willing to sell, especially now that Liverpool have sold their blur chip target to Barcelona, and Morata might see his side's failure to bring in Suarez as a boost to his own bid to make it into the first-team in the capital. Liverpool could probably offer more first team football for the Spaniard, but he remains something of an unknown quality, especially given his lack of Premier League experience (and the worrying trend of young La Liga talents failing to meet their potential in the Premier League).
