2. Michel Vorm
Brendan Rodgers knows Michel Vorm from his days as Swansea manager and can vouch for his reliability at a goalkeeper. He may be tempted to reunite with his former player, especially given his concerns that Pepe Reina is uncomfortable with his style of encouraging his defenders to pass to and receive the ball from the goalkeeper. There have been concerns that Reina simply doesn't fit in with Rodgers' preferred style of play, which could pave the way for him to sign Vorm, given that the Dutch shot-stopper is already familiar with his tactics. Vorm has only started 11 of Swansea's 21 games this season through injury, though has been an instrumental figure on their path to Premier League football in recent seasons, putting in a number of brilliant performances.
