1. Roberto Soldado
Despite a wonderful 2011-12 season the Valencia striker was not awarded a place in the Spanish Euro 2012 team; a strange decision given that he scored 27 goals last season. The Kop have had a soft spot for the Spanish since Rafa Benitez introduced Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres to Anfield. Soldado may be later on in his career but hes a consistent goal scorer and he suits the lone striker position. Hes a great all-rounder; dangerous from his feet and an aerial threat. He shows fabulous technique and a drive to find positions of threat. Valencia are a Champions League team but the truth is that they will never better third in La Liga. The Spaniard may be willing to swap top European football for a chance in the Premier League, where there are options outside of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
