Liverpool Transfers: Four Strikers Liverpool Could Sign

2. Oscar Cardozo

The Benfica player may be reaching 30 but Cardozo has proved to be one of the most consistent strikers in Portugal, notching 91 goals in 138 appearances in the league. The Paraguayan is already three-for-three this season. Tacuara has a deadly left foot and a dangerous free-kick. Much like Soldado, Cardozo already has a regular Champions League place but the lure of the Premier League and an impressive wage could be enough to bring him to Anfield. He operates best as a poacher and although he won€™t offer much in the rest of the pitch he€™ll cause chaos in the opposition box, which is exactly what Liverpool need. He boasts the physicality to test defenders and hold up the ball. At 6ft 4 he also causes problems from set-pieces; one of the few positives Carroll did offer. He is potent in front of goal and he€™ll power his way to find the back of the net. http://youtu.be/3pc7wDrNywQ
