Liverpool Transfers: Four Strikers Liverpool Could Sign

4. Ricky Van Wolfswinkel

The 23-year-old Dutch international has bedded in well in Portugal, notching an impressive 25 goals in 46 appearances during his debut season. The former Utrecht striker is one of the most promising young forwards in Europe and a move to the Premier League can be an enticing step forward in his career. The Dutchman is composed in front of goal and there a few deadlier finishers in the Portuguese league. He is one of the attackers who will put on thrusters when he smells weakness. Wolfswinkel shows the same skill and pace that made Fernando Torres a success on Anfield when he first arrived from Atletico Madrid. Unlike Cardozo and Soldado, Lisbon have not done enough for a Champions League place, which makes Wolfswinkel a much more likely purchase. With the creative influences of Suarez and Borini, the Dutchman would have the chance to become a world class striker. So what do you think Liverpool fans?
