Liverpool's 10 Greatest Premier League Victories

6. Liverpool 3-2 Manchester City - 2013/14

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ1SHycO364 The most recent win on this list was undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable. Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool side knew that victory over Manuel Pellegrini's men would put them in pole position to win an unlikely Premier League title. What followed was a magnificent 90 minutes of football, in front of a hugely atmospheric Anfield. The Reds flew out of the starting blocks at an electrifying pace, and good work from Luis Suarez led to Raheem Sterling brilliantly tricking Joe Hart and firing into the Kop net. After 26 minutes it was 2-0. Gerrard, who Hart had denied seconds previously, whipped in a corner, and Martin Skrtel headed home. It was breathless. City came roaring back after half-time, however, as David Silva made it 2-1 after a brilliant move, and then Glen Johnson's unfortunate own goal brought the scores level. At that point it looked like City were the only potential winners, but the game had another twist. Philippe Coutinho capitalised on Vincent Kompany's poor clearance, firing a brilliant effort past Hart. Jordan Henderson was sent-off late on, but the Reds held on. City would go on to win the title, but it was still a day to remember. Liverpool Starting XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez, Sturridge
