3. Maicon
Big things were expected of the Brazilian right-back when he moved from Inter Milan last year, and his signing was at the time considered a coup considered it cost the Sky Blues just £3.5 million for the former UEFA Club Defender of the Year. Yet his short City career has been blighted by injury and fitness problems and he hasn't played a full 90 minutes since December 1st. He has only been Mancini's second choice right-back behind Pablo Zabaleta this term because of Micah Richard's long-term lay-off following knee surgery, and at 31, it is difficult to make a case for the Brazilian to stay. He
has been tipped with a move back to Inter recently, where he won the Champions League and 4 Serie A titles. It's a pity such success didn't follow him to Manchester.
