Man City Transfers: 5 Replacements For Sergio Aguero

1. Edinson Cavani

Cavani Along with Radamel Falcao, Edinson Cavani has been setting Europe alight with his scintillating form for Napoli of late. The Uruguayan has scored 29 times in 35 appearances for the Italians this season, to add to his haul of 33 in each of the last two seasons prior. City rekindled their interest in the forward this week, and have re-joined Chelsea and Real Madrid in the race for his signature. Reports this week also suggested that Cavani's arrival at the Etihad would signal the end of Bosnian Edin Dzeko's Etihad career, but he could also serve as a replacement for Aguero should the need arise. His club value him at £60 million, however, making him considerably more expensive than anyone else we have highlighted in this list. He would be worth it, though, considering he is one of Europe's most potent strikers, and his arrival at the Etihad could help allay any concerns Aguero's departure would invariably create. Do you think Sergio Aguero will leave City and if so, who should Roberto Mancini replace him with? Let us know in the comment section, below.
