It has been a recurrent theme throughout this article, but van Gaal really does fall out with people a lot. Be it the media, coaching staff or players, the Dutch manager is prone to conflict with those who disagree with his beliefs. Zlatan, Lucio, Ribery and many more have all felt the wrath of the new United manager. Giggs could easily become the next in the firing line. The Welshman represents everything about United and he will not be shy in standing up for what he believes in. With two huge personalities, the possibility of conflict is exceedingly high. Van Gaal will always back himself and if he thinks Giggs should be sacked, you better believe he will do it. Giggs must hope that the two have a harmonious start or things could quickly become problematic.
