Man Utd: 10 Reasons Why Giggs-Van Gaal Relationship Will End In Tears

2. It€™s Unknown Whether Van Gaal Is Keeping All Of The Class Of €™92

The Class of €™92 had the run of Old Trafford for the tail-end of last season, but now it seems unclear as to how many of them will be part of van Gaal€™s regime. Phil Neville, who was brought in by Moyes, has admitted to be unsure about whether he will remain at the club, while Paul Scholes has confessed to not expecting to being part of the coaching staff next season. Nicky Butt is the only one whose place seems reasonably secure, with the former midfielder likely to work with the under-21 squad. Undoubtedly the Class of €™92 share a great bond and you€™d expect Giggs to want them at the club, especially as he worked with them last season. You can also imagine that, when he becomes manager, Giggs will certainly have them as part of his set-up. For these reasons, exiling them now could cause conflict between van Gaal and Giggs.
