1. Players Not Performing And Young Talent Being Overrated
As well as the veterans, United's collapse is not due just to them. I kid you not, they have eleven players who are not performing to their potential (veterans non-included). Here are just a few: Tom Cleverly, Marouane Fellaini, Ashley Young, Nani, Danny Welbeck and Kagawa just to mention a few. These are players who are overpaid, under performing and overrated. Yet Moyes, 'the Chosen One', persists in playing many of these players week in, week out. Can he not see through the storm brewing in Old Trafford that these players severely lack the quality required to play for the once mighty United. Cleverly, a once hugely hyped up player turned out to be a Jordan Henderson, Fellaini, whom United paid a hefty £27 million on, barely plays due to injuries and does not suit there style. Nani, an incredibly lazy player who will never work hard enough to earn his squad number, but sometimes, just sometimes performs. Kagawa, whom they paid a hefty £17 million for, is played out of position and has not lived up to the hype surrounding him when he joined in 2012. However, I do think that some of these players can have a bright future at United but need to shift their weight (*cough* Charlie Adam).
