Tom Cleverley is a highly talented England midfielder with great passing skills, an ability to get in the box to take shots an all-round talent breaking into the England side in 2012 showing the type of skilful play England have lacked from the midfield. Cleverley is a Man Utd trained youth talent having been on loan at clubs like Leicester City, Watford and Wigan developing his skills and looking like a real star of the future. He seems to be what both Utd and England have been crying out for, a ball playing, chance creating midfielder. At the start of the season the idea of him and Carrick holding the centre of the pitch wasnt a problem for many Utd fans but now attention and pressure is start to mount on young Cleverley. No one really knows why Cleverley suddenly isnt showing up last season he looked fine but now every game his influence seems less and almost anonymous. Now of course he is still a young man and this is only his second full season with Man Utd and he needs some support. Maybe with the likes of Scholes retiring and Giggs only able to start one game every few weeks there is pressure on Cleverley to set up and take the role of two iconic players. Whatever the reason Cleverley could really do with a performance soon to convince Utd fans that he really could be a vital midfield lynch pin for them in years to come.
Ian Newby is a average nerd living in the north of England, if given the chance he would spend all his life sat watching every single football match he possibly could before catching up on nerd happy TV shows then playing videos games all night, thankfully he doesn’t do that.
