Man Utd: 5 Players Most Letting David Moyes Down

5. Marouane Fellaini

Fellaini has been one of the biggest disappointment€™s for Utd, was a star at Everton; he was a key part of Moyes impressive team for several years scoring 25 goals in over 150 appearances. Fellaini is a menace aerially for defences, at 6ft 4 and with tremendous heading power Fellaini is the type of player balls can be crossed into from anywhere and he always seemed to get a head to it. Fellaini€™s biggest problem in a Manchester Utd shirt isn€™t the huge price tag on him, his famed bouts of ill-discipline or even the fact he has been out for over a month with a wrist injury. The fact is Fellaini€™s best position is playing just off the striker and having long balls pumped towards his head for the flick downs. Man Utd just don€™t play long balls that many times in a game and add to the fact that a certain Wayne Rooney is a world class talent that can play behind the striker then you can see why Fellaini has been so poor in his new surroundings. The worse part of Fellaini is everyone can see Man Utd have a real problem in midfield so his struggles to adapt to a new role become even more noticeable. Fellaini is thought of as a Moyes type player and if he keeps failing to deliver on the field the more pressure Moyes will be under if his only current signing fails to add anything to a struggling team.
